Action Fund

The Action Fund awards annual grants to support humanitarian projects and educational programmes for women and girls. Unions and Clubs may apply for grants from the Action Fund with permission from their Union. In 2024, SIE supported six projects with a total of 41,050 € in grants.

For detailed information and the application form, Soroptimist can visit the SIE Member Area under Downloads > SIE Funds.

Solidarity Fund

A Solidarity Fund was created to provide financial support to Unions and Single Clubs facing temporary challenges in covering their membership dues or organisational expenses. More information is available on the SIE Member Area for Soroptimists.

Disaster Recovery Fund

The Disaster Recovery Fund provides grants to address the specific needs of women and girls recovering from natural disasters or armed conflicts. While immediate aid is often urgent, experience shows that projects focusing on long-term recovery offer more sustainable and effective support.

Clubs and Unions across all regions are eligible to apply for grants to assist women and girls affected by disasters such as earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, storms, volcanic eruptions, and armed conflicts. The Fund has been supported projects benefiting flood, earthquake victims, refugees and women living in war zones.
