Sex workers continue to face criminalization, violence, discrimination, and other forms of human rights violations. At the initiative of its President, a lawyer involved in the drafting of a new law defining the rights of prostitutes, SI Taunus club has approached the association “Madonna e. V.”, which defends the interests of sex workers throughout these specific points. At a Christmas dinner, Ursula Mathiessen-Kreuder, President of the Taunus Club, met some of the prostitutes from the association and handed over the money collected to them, enabling them to gain financial empowerment.
